Retreat Bela Natureza welcomes groups and projects working towards physical, energetic and spiritual development. Located near the beach town of Arembepe, set in the harmonious rustic natural environment, yet only a half hour drive from the International Airport (Salvador da Bahia, Brazil), it's perfect for those people seeking a quick path to balance and inner peace.

In 2018 we celebrate the 13^th anniversary of our healing space, and we are very grateful to have been able to offer a space for healing purposes and to work with so many wonderful people over the past decade.

We provide a comprehensive range of facilities for courses and workshops, as well as accommodation options, meals and other services, all within an inspirational natural environment, and as a highlight from Retreat, you will have the chance to sometimes be in direct contact with our whole family of dogs, under the guidance of their guardian, Evelyn.

Choose from a range of additional activity offerings to enhance and complement your stay. Depending on the length and the focus of your course or workshop, the options include natural healing sessions, meditation sessions with our dogs, beach trips, language instruction and talks on the history and culture of Bahia.

Facilities:

- Workshop pavilion: we offer a beautiful circular pavilion with an area of 90 square meters, a wooden floor and a traditional palm-thatched roof. It can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people. In the style of an indigenous meeting room, or “Taba”, our pavilion is nestled into the natural surroundings, under the shade of ancient trees. Please click here to see more photos. 

 - Refreshment area: next to the workshop pavilion is a space for coffee breaks, snacks or lunches, ideal for taking a break or having a chat between workshops.

- Relaxation spaces: the site includes a number of wooden benches in the shade of the trees, as well as hammocks and peaceful corners for meditation or introspection.

- Reception: we offer a multi-purpose open-air reception area that can also be used as you wish – as an information point, meeting room, library etc.

- Bonfire area: we offer a secure and comfortable space for making bonfires.

- Swimming pool: we have a small pool (10,000 liter), the ideal place to relax and cool off.

- Wireless Internet

Food:

We offer healthy and delicious vegetarian meals made from organic locally-produced vegetables, and two coffee breaks during course days.

Accommodation:

We have two charming eco-lodges in the style of indigenous “Oca” constructions, built using traditional adobe techniques and with thatched roofs; one suite with private bathroom and veranda; and a group room for hammocks. All offer optimum comfort, with private bathrooms and modern facilities. For bigger groups we can also offer the possibility of camping beneath leafy trees.
